The 034 Motorsport Billet Aluminum Rear Subframe Mount Insert Kit is engineered to address the deflection of factory rubber rear subframe mounts in B8/B8.5 Audi S4/RS4, S5/RS5, Q5/SQ5, and 95B Porsche Macan vehicles. These rubber mounts can deflect under load, leading to a vague and loose rear end, suboptimal suspension geometry, and increased understeer. Constructed from T6-6061 billet aluminum and CNC-machined in-house, these inserts feature a clear anodized finish for enhanced durability. Users can expect a more refined, connected driving experience, with virtually no additional NVH transfer. The inserts also contribute to improved shifting feel, resulting in crisper shifts, and enhance the effectiveness of aftermarket rear sway bar upgrades and other suspension components. Installation is straightforward and can typically be completed in under an hour, and the modification is completely reversible. However, a critical note specifies that this insert set will not fit all subframe bushings. Fitment depends on the direction of the steel cap covering the mount. If the steel cap's long side is in the direction of travel, the inserts will not work; if it's perpendicular to the line of travel, they are compatible. New stretch factory hardware (part number WHT004756A) may be required, and SQ5 models specifically need two bolts with factory part number WHT005800 for the front bushings on the rear subframe.
