The 034 Motorsport Billet Aluminum Rear Subframe Mount Inserts are engineered to address deflection in the factory rubber rear subframe mounts found in MQB Audi/Volkswagen vehicles equipped with Haldex AWD. This deflection can lead to a vague rear end feel, suboptimal suspension geometry, and increased understeer. By precisely filling voids in the four factory mounts, these inserts effectively limit subframe movement, thereby maintaining proper suspension geometry during cornering and improving the responsiveness of the rear suspension and differential. Constructed from durable T6-6061 billet aluminum and CNC-machined in-house, these inserts feature a clear anodized finish for longevity. The inserts aim to reduce rear subframe movement during launches and acceleration, and can also improve shifting feel, resulting in crisper shifts. 034 Motorsport rates the NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) levels as None to Low, noting that NVH can be subjective and dependent on installation accuracy. Important fitment information: These inserts are designed for Quattro & 4-Motion vehicles ONLY. Specifically, they fit models such as the 2015-Present Audi A1/S1 Quattro (8X), 2015-Present Audi A3/S3/RS3 Quattro (8V/8V.5 - MQB), 2016-Present Audi TT/TTS/TTRS Quattro (MkIII - MQB), 2015-Present Volkswagen Golf R (MkVII - MQB), and 2015-Present Volkswagen Sportwagen/Alltrack (MkVII - MQB). For the 2013-2015 Audi TT/TTS/TTRS Quattro (8J) with a build date after 05/29/2012, they fit 4Motion vehicles only and do not fit 2.0 TDI models. Note: The factory rear subframe bolts are torque-to-yield and should be replaced when installing these inserts. A set of four OEM bolts is recommended and available separately.
