The K-Tuned 9th Gen Civic Shifter is constructed with a primarily billet aluminum assembly, ensuring a strong design with reduced flex. Key structural components are made from 6061 T6 aluminum, with stainless steel used for cable attachment points and the center shifter rod for added strength. Delrin is incorporated at pivot points to provide a smooth shifting feel. This shifter is designed to be a direct replacement for the 2012-2015 Honda Civic Base and Si models. It offers a high degree of customization, allowing for independent adjustment of throw (front-back), gate (side-to-side), and the height and offset of the shift knob's placement. This enables a tailored driving experience and improved ergonomics. A unique feature is the available rebuild service for shifters manufactured in 2023 and later. This service includes disassembly, cleaning, inspection, replacement of wear items, and servicing to maintain optimal performance. K-Tuned suggests this service every 1-2 years, depending on usage. It is important to note that this shifter is specifically designed for the 2012-15 Civic Si and Base Model and *does not fit the Type R model*. The design is patent-pending.
