Billet Aluminum Shifter Arm

The Billet Shifter Arm is a direct replacement for OEM plastic arms, constructed from 100% billet aluminum. It utilizes a durable delrin pivot ball for tighter clearances and incorporates a stiffer, heat-treated neutral return spring. Together, these features drastically reduce shifter play and looseness, common complaints with stock setups, leading to a more accurate and crisper shifting experience. This upgrade aims to reduce the chance of mis-shifts, which can lead to engine damage. The system also includes a 5th Gear Lockout, developed from feedback by racers to prevent costly gear misses. This lockout guides the shifter away from the 5-6-R section and features a spring-loaded pin. It offers two settings: a locked position and a release setting, where 4th gear allows for a normal shift to 5th. This component acts as an insurance policy for the engine, applicable for both street and race cars. Further enhancing the setup are the Shifter Cable Firewall Grommet and Heatshield Tubing. The billet-framed grommet, with a 7/16-inch thick rubber insert, eliminates gaps around shifter cables passed through the firewall and protects the cables from sharp edges. The 4-foot Heat Shield Tubing, made with an aluminized outer layer and braided fiberglass insulation, protects shifter cables from radiant heat up to 1400°F. The tubing is split for easy installation. This shifter system is designed to fit all OEM shifter boxes from K20A, A2, A3, and Z1 engines, as well as the EM2 Civic shifter box.
