The Wehrli Custom Fab WCF100420 Top Outlet Billet Thermostat Housing and Upper Coolant Pipe Kit is engineered to enhance the cooling system and engine bay accessibility for 2006-2010 LBZ/LMM 6.6L Duramax engines. This kit replaces the stock upper radiator hose that typically crosses over the driver-side valve cover, as well as the coolant return pipe. By reconfiguring the coolant routing to an upward and forward path from the thermostat, it significantly improves access to the driver-side fuel system components. This design also accommodates larger aftermarket turbochargers, particularly those mounted in the valley or race cover style SXE turbochargers. The kit includes the necessary coolant pipe, silicone boots, and t-bolt clamps for a complete installation. The product is available in various powder-coated colors, including WCFab Red, WCFab Grey, Bengal Blue, Gloss White, and Gloss Black, with specific colors having different stock availability and lead times. It is important to note that this kit is ***NOT COMPATIBLE WITH 2006-2007 GMC SIERRA*** models.
