The OEM valve often features restrictive internal passages and can fail in the closed position, which prevents transmission fluid from reaching the cooler. This failure can cause dangerously high temperatures, potentially leading to shortened component life under demanding conditions such as stop-and-go driving or heavy use. Constructed from durable billet aluminum with a black powder coat finish, this bypass valve eliminates the mechanical restriction of the stock part to ensure consistent fluid flow and enhanced cooling.
