The 034 Motorsport Billet Aluminum Upper & Lower Dogbone Mount Insert Pair is engineered to significantly reduce drivetrain movement in Volkswagen and Audi MQB and MQB EVO vehicles. This two-piece system, comprising both upper and lower inserts, fills the voids in the factory dogbone mount assembly. By limiting excessive compliance, it dramatically reduces transmission and engine movement during shifting and deceleration, leading to crisper shifts and a more direct, connected driving feel. Constructed from durable T6-6061 billet aluminum with a clear anodized finish, these inserts are designed to work in conjunction with the factory rubber mount. Unlike polyurethane options, this billet aluminum design will not pack or wear over time, ensuring long-lasting performance. The product also includes new OEM torque-to-yield (TTY) installation hardware, as recommended by VW/Audi for proper securement. The system aims to provide a noticeable improvement in shifting feel and throttle response without introducing excessive noise, vibration, or harshness (NVH) into the cabin. While the NVH levels are rated as Low to Medium, some minor NVH may be experienced during initial take-off in drive or reverse. The manufacturer provides a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser.
