The stock unit utilizes a stamped steel body and a rubber diaphragm, which can be prone to tears, especially under higher boost pressures or with accumulated mileage, leading to potential boost-related engine codes and compromised fuel trims. This upgrade replaces these components with a robust billet aluminum construction and a durable metal piston mechanism. Designed for seamless integration, this bypass valve functions identically to the OEM unit, ensuring 100% drop-in compatibility and CEL-free operation.
