Billet CNC V3 Lock Kit with Adjustable Ackermann

This kit replaces the original electric steering rack with a hydraulic unit for superior response and feedback, crucial for racing conditions. The kit includes billet CNC-machined knuckles and lower control arms made from 7075-T6 aluminum, achieving a 7 kg weight reduction while maintaining high strength through double shear connections and CrMo rod ends. The kinematics have been specifically modified for optimal performance during drifting. This includes adjustable Ackermann settings, allowing for precise tuning even trackside, and a higher roll center achieved by lowering the ball joint. This setup increases front roll stiffness and can potentially eliminate the need for a front anti-roll bar, which can be difficult to package with high lock angles. The design also ensures good dynamic camber control and minimizes bump steer across the entire steering range, contributing to better front grip and predictable handling. For installation, the use of coilovers is assumed for adequate clearance. It is also noted that wider fenders or fender flares may be necessary depending on rim width and offset. Specific tire size recommendations are provided due to the engine bay width, with limits on tire diameter and width to prevent interference. A minimum rim size of 17" is required, with 18" recommended. Proper backspacing is also crucial, with adjustments or spacers potentially needed if the ET is smaller than recommended.
