The 034Motorsport Billet Crank Seal Guard is a protective component designed to prevent catastrophic engine failure in the event of a serpentine belt failure on BMW N52, N54, N55, and S55 engines. It is installed over the OEM BMW crank seal. This guard is manufactured from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and features a black anodized finish for corrosion resistance.

The 034Motorsport Billet Crank Seal Guard is engineered to safeguard BMW N52, N54, N55, and S55 engines from severe damage in the event of a serpentine belt failure. These engines are known for random belt failures, which can lead to the belt wrapping around the crankshaft and entering the engine. Such an event can shred the belt, clog the oil pickup, and ultimately cause catastrophic engine failure due to oil starvation. This guard is constructed from durable 6061-T6 billet aluminum, ensuring robustness and longevity. It features a black anodized finish that not only provides protection against corrosion but also maintains a clean aesthetic within the engine bay. Installation of the Billet Crank Seal Belt Guard is rated as MEDIUM difficulty and is estimated to take approximately 2 hours to complete. The kit includes the billet crank seal belt guard and two M8x1.25x40mm, 12.9-rated, zinc-plated screws for installation.
