Description

This performance-grade component utilizes a patented design featuring a durable billet housing and a double-tongued, spring-loaded seal, ensuring a reliable and leak-free operation. This upgraded seal replaces OE part numbers 026103171A, 034103171A, and 06A103171A. Each package includes the iABED VW827 T6061 machined rear main seal holder, an Elring spring-loaded rear main seal, two M6 x 1.0 x 40mm set screws, and two M6 x 1.0 flanged nuts. This product is specifically designed for water-cooled engines dating back to 1978, including models from 1978 to 2009 and certain 2012 models with the EA113 engine. However, it is important to note that this seal does not work on the 2.0 TDI engine that features a built-in impulse wheel (OE part number 03L103171A).
