Overview

The 034Motorsport Billet CREC Supercharger Clutch Delete Kit is engineered to replace the failure-prone factory clutch system on CREC-equipped Audi 3.0T engines. The factory supercharger clutch can wear out over time and struggle to hold with higher power outputs, causing reduced power and error codes. This kit replaces the factory system with a single-piece billet puck, creating a linked connection between the supercharger and its pulley. The kit is available in Billet 4140 Steel or Grade 2 Titanium.

The Steel variant is machined from billet 4140 steel and zinc-plated for corrosion resistance, weighing 1.8lbs compared to the OE clutches' 4.0lbs. The Titanium variant is machined from Grade 2 Titanium and is even lighter at 1.0 lb, offering increased weight savings. Both options eliminate slipping, provide a solid connection, and offer more direct throttle response, with a negligible effect on fuel efficiency. The kit is maintenance-free, fully reversible, and includes a Delrin centering tool for installation.

The 034Motorsport Billet CREC Supercharger Clutch Delete Kit is engineered to replace the failure-prone factory clutch system on CREC-equipped Audi 3.0T engines. The factory supercharger clutch system can wear out over time, leading to reduced power output and error codes, even on tuned or stock vehicles. While designed by Audi to improve fuel efficiency during light load driving by reducing drivetrain losses, this kit has not shown a negative impact on fuel economy. Furthermore, the factory system can exhibit clunky engagement and disengagement, negatively affecting drivability and throttle response. This kit replaces the factory clutch with a single-piece billet puck, ensuring a solid connection between the supercharger and pulley. It includes a Delrin installation tool for easy alignment and installation, and is fully reversible with no modifications needed. The Steel variant offers a balance of affordability and durability, reducing rotating mass from 4.0 lbs (OE) to 1.8 lbs. The Titanium variant is an even lighter and stronger option, weighing in at just 1.0 lb, further optimizing performance. Both options provide a maintenance-free, solid connection, leading to more direct throttle response. OE part numbers interchangeable with this kit include 06E 145 105 M, N, Q, R, and S.
