The BMS B46/B48 Billet Intake is engineered to enhance the performance of B46 and B48 BMW engines by increasing airflow. This intake system is constructed from billet material and made in the USA. It provides a "plug and play" installation that takes only minutes and is fully reversible, meaning no permanent modifications are required. This intake is designed to unlock up to 8 wheel horsepower (whp) and offers a dramatic improvement in engine sound, including turbo spool noise during acceleration. The fit and finish are noted as top-notch, contributing to both performance and aesthetics. It is important to note that the BMS B46/B48/B58 intakes are specific and not interchangeable. Fitment details vary by BMW chassis and engine generation. For example, while it fits many F-chassis models like the 2016-2018 F30/F34 330i/325i/320i (B46/B48), it does not fit the new 2019+ G20 330i or M340i. Specific fitment for G-chassis models like the 2022-2024 G42/G43 2 Series (220i/230i) and MINI models from 2014+ (B36/B38/B46/B48) should be confirmed based on the exact vehicle and engine.
