Billet Intake Plenum

The CNC Fabrication billet intake plenums offer a significant upgrade for the 1999.5-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke engine. Crafted from high-strength 6061-T6511 aircraft aluminum, these plenums are CNC machined in-house to provide a more robust solution than the factory's flimsy stamped steel components. These intake plenums are suitable for higher boost applications due to their thicker wall construction. The kit includes a bolt/nut kit and a tube of Permatex Ultra Gray RTV sealant for installation. They are compatible with all aftermarket HPOP line kit fittings and aftermarket fuel line kits. For those switching to a T4 turbo mount on a 1994.5-1997 (OBS) or Early 1999 setup, these 3-inch plenums are specifically recommended. Installation requires careful attention to cleaning both the cylinder head surface and the new plenum to ensure a proper seal. A small bead of the included sealant should be applied around the outside flange and each bolt hole. Follow the sealant manufacturer's instructions, avoiding excessive amounts to prevent globs from entering the intake runners. Bolts should be tightened finger-tight, starting from the center and working outwards, torqued to 20 ft-lbs. Note that one specific bolt on the passenger side at the front of the engine may not be installable without removing the front cover or cylinder head; the factory bolt can be reused in this instance if the engine is assembled.
