The RacingLine Billet Oil Cap is meticulously machined from a solid billet of 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum using CNC 5-axis technology. This cap's unique feature is its sophisticated internal springing mechanism. This system provides a hard click and locks into place, assuring the user that the cap is fully tightened. This ensures absolute tightness even under the heat soak conditions common in high-performance engines, and prevents the known issue of 'weeping' oil leaks from the standard cap on EA888.3 TSI engines. The cap is polished and then gloss-anodised in a Midnight Black finish to maintain its appearance over time. Installation is straightforward, but it requires transferring the rubber seal from your old factory cap to the new RacingLine cap. The product is specifically designed for EA888.3 and EA888.3B engines, including 1.8 TSI and 2.0 TSI variants. It is compatible with a wide range of Volkswagen, Audi, Skoda, and SEAT/Cupra models from 2013 onwards, including various Golf, Passat, Arteon, T-Roc, Tiguan, Jetta/GLI, and Polo models.
