The Boundary Racing Pumps L15B7-OPG is a billet oil pump gear engineered for L15B7 engines, specifically the 2016-2021 Honda Civic 1.5T and 2017-2021 Honda Civic Si. Manufactured in Dallas, Texas, it begins with a chromoly billet that undergoes extreme heat quenching and tempering to create an indestructible core. Following machining, the gear is treated with Boundary's ColdFlow surface hardening process and finished to a Mirror Finish. This oil pump gear boasts several key features for enhanced performance and durability. It includes mirror-finished and surface-hardened components, along with surface-ground gears for superior fitment and performance. The construction utilizes an indestructible chromoly core, with inner and outer gears machined as matched sets to ensure precision. Boundary's own race-inspired gerotor design is implemented for optimal flow and strength. Each gear set undergoes rigorous hand, machine, and hardness inspections, complete with a Blueprinting Report. For extreme applications, the L15B7-OPG is available with MartenWear dual-stage heat treat, enabling operation beyond 9,000 RPM.
