The iABED Industries Billet Aluminum VW/AUDI Rear Main Seal offers a patented, permanent solution to the common issue of leaking rear main seals in compatible Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, and Skoda engines. This upgraded seal addresses the problem with a robust design that incorporates a double-tongued, spring-loaded seal housed within a precisely machined billet aluminum assembly. The kit includes the T6061 machined rear main seal holder, an Elring spring-loaded seal, and all necessary hardware for installation, such as M6 set screws and flanged nuts. This replacement is designed to be a direct upgrade for several OEM part numbers, including 026103171A, 034103171A, and 06A103171A. Compatibility extends to water-cooled engines dating back to 1978, specifically covering models up to 2009 for Volkswagen, Audi, Seat, and Skoda. It is also compatible with the 2012 VW Golf R, Audi TTS, and Seat Leon Cupra R equipped with the EA113 engine. It's important to note that this seal is not compatible with the 2.0 TDI engine that features a built-in impulse wheel (OEM part number 03L103171A).
