The K-Tuned Billet Shifter Base Plate V2 is specifically engineered for K24 transmissions found in TSX and Accord models, facilitating the installation of RSX or K-Tuned style shifters, particularly during K-swap projects into Civic or Integra chassis. This V2 iteration boasts an improved design that enhances rigidity, provides cleaner aesthetics, and refines overall fitment for a more precise and durable installation. Constructed from CNC-machined billet aluminum and finished with a black anodize, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and a sleek appearance. The package includes stainless hardware and necessary spacers for installation. This base plate is compatible with K24 (TSX & Accord 5/6-speed) transmissions and is designed to mount RSX/K-Tuned style shifters to TSX/Accord-style transmissions. It is a preferred component for racers, especially on road courses, as it positions the shifter higher within the vehicle, bringing it closer to the driver and steering wheel. This placement also frees up considerable space beneath the car, accommodating larger exhaust systems. The shifter cables are routed internally, typically exiting through the firewall's heater hose hole. It is important to note that this shifter setup does not clear interior panels or center consoles in any chassis, and it is assumed that the heater core has been deleted in most race car applications.
