The 034Motorsport Billet Spherical Dogbone Mount Performance Pack is engineered to provide a significant upgrade for the drivetrain in Volkswagen & Audi MQB and MQB EVO vehicles equipped with the 7-speed DSG transmission. This all-inclusive package contains the Billet Spherical Dogbone Mount, Upper Dogbone Mount Insert, Lower Dogbone Mount Insert, and all new hardware, simplifying the upgrade process. The core of the system is the Billet Spherical Dogbone Mount, crafted from robust T6-6061 billet aluminum and 303 stainless steel. This mount effectively eliminates the excessive play found in the factory component, leading to a more locked-down drivetrain, noticeably crisper shifts, and a reduction in wheel hop under load. The spherical bearing design allows for proper articulation, maintaining performance while managing noise, vibration, and harshness to low-medium levels as reported by users. Complementing the main mount are the Billet Aluminum Lower Dogbone Mount Insert and the Billet Aluminum Upper Dogbone Mount Insert. The lower insert is precision-machined to fill the voids in the factory mount, drastically reducing transmission and engine movement during shifting and deceleration for a more connected driving experience. The upper insert is crucial for preventing damage during aggressive driving scenarios like burn-outs that cause wheel-hop.
