Billet Steel Cam Gear Set

The TFS Billet Steel Adjustable Crankshaft Gears are engineered for Ford modular engines, including 2V, 3V, and 4V configurations. These adjustable gears are essential for precise camshaft timing when installing aftermarket camshafts, allowing for adjustments of up to +/- 8 degrees in 2-degree increments. Each gear can be independently adjusted to retard or advance cam timing, facilitating optimal engine performance. The set includes the crankshaft gears and a spacer, which is used specifically with newer style stamped steel trigger wheels. The spacer is not required when installing with Accufab or older OEM cast trigger wheels. For optimal security after adjustment, it is recommended to pin the gears together due to the crankshaft keyway design. The manufacturer offers a Camshaft Degree Service that includes pinning the gears if purchased together. Installation order involves the TFS Billet Adjustable Crank Gears, the supplied spacer (if applicable), the trigger wheel (teeth facing outwards), and finally the timing cover.
