Billet Steel Crankshaft Timing Set

The Cloyes 9-3110 is a high-performance engine timing set engineered for Chevy Big Block engines, specifically the 396-454 cubic inch displacements. This set utilizes a true roller chain with a 0.250-inch roller diameter, providing enhanced durability and performance. The crankshaft sprocket is constructed from billet steel and features three keyways, allowing for adjustable timing settings of +/- 4 degrees. The camshaft sprocket is made from either ductile iron or hardened cast iron, ensuring robust operation. Both sprockets are heat-treated for increased durability and resistance to wear. The set has a standard center distance of 5.152 inches. It does not include gaskets. For optimal installation and to achieve the desired timing, the use of a degree wheel is recommended when utilizing the adjustable keyway feature.
