The Granatelli Motor Sports GMS430180B is a USA-made, billet thermostat housing engineered to significantly enhance the cooling system's performance and durability for select high-performance vehicles. Crafted from robust 6061-T6 billet aluminum with a black anodized finish, this unit is built to withstand extreme conditions and outperform fragile OEM plastic housings that are prone to cracking and leaks. This thermostat housing upgrade offers a substantial 40% increase in coolant flow compared to stock configurations. This is achieved through a flush-mount bolt design that eliminates the flow-restricting bridge found in factory units. The kit includes a 180-degree high-flow thermostat, which opens earlier to circulate coolant sooner, helping to prevent overheating, reduce heat soak during aggressive driving or track sessions, and ultimately boost engine performance, torque, and longevity. The housing utilizes factory bolts for a secure, leak-free fit without the need for a gasket. Additionally, a 1/2" pipe thread port is included for the optional installation of temperature or pressure sensors, or it can be sealed with the provided plug, offering a degree of customization. The Granatelli GMS430180B is specifically designed for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk (2018-2021), RAM TRX (2021-2024), and Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat (2021, 2023-2024), all equipped with the 6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 engine.
