The Banks Power 72522 Billet Torque Converter is engineered to significantly outperform and outlast stock converters. It addresses common stock converter issues with a robust construction that includes a CNC-machined forged steel housing. The multi-disc torque converter clutch, featuring RaceLock Technology, is modified to provide increased holding power. This converter utilizes an upgraded lockup clutch friction material, resulting in improved engagement and reduced clutch wear. It is meticulously blueprinted for precision control of tolerances and balanced for smooth, vibrationless rotation. These enhancements contribute to improved fuel economy and a greater torque capacity, rated at 1100 lb-ft compared to a stock 740 lb-ft.
