The LOJ Conversions GMZ33-TRAD is a billet transmission adapter plate designed to mate GM automatic transmissions to VQ35DE engines. It is fabricated from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and includes all necessary zinc-plated hardware.

The LOJ Conversions VQ35DE Engine to GM Transmission Adapter allows for the installation of any GM automatic transmission behind a VQ35DE engine. This adapter plate is precisely machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum sourced from the USA and features a 0.875" thickness. It is designed to use the stock Nissan/Infiniti starter and flexplate, though an upgraded billet flexplate is recommended for builds exceeding 400WHP. This adapter is compatible with a wide range of VQ35DE engines found in various Infiniti and Nissan models, including the G35 Sedan/Coupe, 350Z, M35, and FX35. It supports both non-electronic GM automatic transmissions such as the Powerglide, TH350, TH400, and 700R4, as well as electronic automatics like the 4L60E/4L65E/4L70E/4L75E and 4L80. Note that electronic transmissions will require a standalone transmission computer for proper operation, and your engine computer must be set to a manual transmission operating system. Installation may require minor modifications to the inside of the transmission's bellhousing to accommodate the Nissan/Infiniti starter snout on certain models. Additionally, the stock exhaust manifolds will not clear the wider GM bellhousing, necessitating an aftermarket exhaust solution. A custom torque converter is a requirement for this setup, with LOJ Conversions offering custom-built TCS Torque Converters or providing dimensional data for other suppliers.
