The K-Tuned Billet Shift Lever Assembly (Version 2.0) offers a precise and robust shifting experience for vehicles equipped with manual transmissions. This billet-constructed assembly is designed to directly replace the OEM shifter in various Honda Accord and Acura TSX models from the 2003-2007/2004-2008 periods, accommodating both 4-cylinder and V6 engines. Beyond its direct replacement capabilities, this shifter is also noted for its utility in K-Swapped vehicles. It can be installed with a K20Z3 transmission (06-11 Civic Si) or K24 TSX/Accord transmissions. The design mounts the shifter higher within the vehicle, positioning it closer to the driver and steering wheel, which is a preference for many racers, particularly in road course applications. This elevated mounting also provides increased clearance underneath the vehicle, which is beneficial for accommodating larger exhaust systems. The K-Tuned Billet Shifter Base Plate is specifically designed to facilitate the installation of the KTD-TSX-ACC (K-Tuned TSX/Accord Shifter) or OEM Accord/TSX Shifter into chassis such as EF, EG, EK, and DC2. This setup typically routes shifter cables inside the cabin, often exiting through the firewall's heater hose hole, assuming the heater core has been removed. It is important to note that this shifter configuration will not clear interior panels or center consoles in any chassis.
