Black Carbon Intake System for BMW F87 M2 Competition S55

The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System is specifically engineered for the BMW F87 M2 Competition and M2 CS models equipped with the S55 engine, aiming to enhance turbocharger efficiency and overall performance. This system replaces the restrictive factory airbox with Eventuri’s patented carbon fiber Venturi filter housings. This allows the turbos to spool more efficiently, leading to improved throttle response and stronger power delivery across the rev range. To combat heat soak and maintain optimal intake air temperatures, the system incorporates sealed carbon intake ducts. These ducts help shield the incoming air from engine bay heat, which is crucial for turbocharged engines to ensure denser air reaches the combustion chamber for consistent performance. Integrated aluminum cowls assist in promoting smoother airflow entry into the tubes, while the bespoke Generation 2 high-flow filters provide an increased filtration surface area without compromising engine protection. The entire system is constructed from prepreg carbon fiber, offering strength, reduced weight, and a premium aesthetic finish. Performance gains are estimated to be approximately 12–20 horsepower and 12–16 ft-lb of torque, accompanied by a more pronounced induction sound.
