Black Cold Air Intake Kit

The HPS Black cold air intake kit is engineered for the 2002-2006 Nissan Altima 2.5L 4Cyl, designed to enhance performance and aesthetics. This system functions as a long ram cold air intake but can convert into a shortram configuration. By relocating the HPS Performance Air Filter outside the engine compartment, it ensures the coolest possible inlet air temperatures. Compared to traditional shortram intakes, this long ram system delivers cooler air with increased oxygen content. This leads to a more powerful combustion in the vehicle's engine, resulting in greater horsepower, torque, and improved throttle response. The kit features a lightweight, mandrel-bent aluminum alloy tube that replaces the restrictive stock air box, optimizing airflow. It also includes HPS's signature reinforced silicone hoses and industrial-grade 100% stainless steel T-bolt clamps for reliability under demanding driving conditions. No tuning is required after installation, and no permanent modifications to the vehicle are necessary. However, removal of the front bumper is recommended to facilitate the installation process.
