The House of Kolor S2-LE01 Black Forest Kandy Basecoat is a custom auto paint designed for sophisticated finishes. This particular shade, LE01 Black Forest, is a deep green kandy that incorporates green pearl for a lush, forest-like brilliance. As a 1K basecoat, the S2-LE01 requires a subsequent clear coat for protection and shine. The manufacturer recommends using either Spray Max 2K High Gloss Glamour Clear Coat or House of Kolor USC01 Show Klear for optimal results. For the Black Forest color, achieving the pictured shade necessitates the application of House of Kolor KD3001 black primer beneath it. This is because kandy basecoats, especially those with pearl effects, are formulated to provide the best representation and depth when applied over a black base. House of Kolor offers this paint in various convenient formats, including Aerosol Spray Can, Ready To Spray Pint, Ready To Spray Quart, Unreduced Pint, and Unreduced Quart. If opting for the unreduced versions, the paint must be reduced with RU311 reducer at a 2:1 ratio. The Ready To Spray options come pre-reduced and are ready for immediate application. Ensure adequate ventilation and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirator masks, during application. Please note that this color is made to order and is not returnable.
