The Airtec intercooler is a high-performance upgrade specifically designed for the EA888 Gen 4 platform engines found in the Golf 8 GTI, Golf 8 R, and S3 8Y. This direct-fit intercooler supports powers up to 700hp and has demonstrated a gain of 35hp on a stage 2 engine. It comes complete with large diameter reinforced silicone hoses, a comprehensive mounting kit, and detailed assembly instructions, ensuring a straightforward installation process. The intercooler's dimensions are 620mm x 420mm x 63mm, significantly larger than the OEM's 619mm x 409mm x 36mm dimensions. Fitment is confirmed for 2021 onwards Audi 8Y A3 and S3, 2020 onwards SEAT Leon 2.0 TSI, and 2021 onwards VW Mk8 Golf R 2.0T and Golf 8 GTI 2.0T models.
