Description

The Supertech MIVN-1420-8 is a set of eight black nitride intake valves engineered for the 1995-1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse RS/GS models. Constructed from an enhanced EV8 (21-4N) stainless steel, the highest grade available, these valves are built to withstand demanding applications. Each valve features a 35.00mm standard head diameter and a 111.70mm length, with a 5.96mm stem diameter. The design incorporates a single groove, a back-cut angle, and an undercut stem for improved performance and durability. The one-piece forged construction ensures strength and a non-magnetic property. These intake valves receive a black nitride surface treatment for superior hardness while maintaining core ductility. Additionally, they feature a “Superfinish” valve stem, offering a surface roughness approximately one-third that of a regular valve. This treatment contributes to reduced friction, better flow rates, improved sealing, and less carbon buildup, ultimately enhancing durability.
