The Powerflex PFR85-510BX2 is a Black Series polyurethane control arm bushing kit, specifically designed for track and race applications. These bushings are significantly stiffer than their street counterparts, offering minimum deflection for enhanced performance. By reducing deflection, these bushings help maintain proper suspension geometry, which is crucial for improved handling, especially during hard launches, over bumps, and during cornering. Control arms are vital components that connect and stabilize a vehicle's suspension to the subframe. Worn or degraded bushings in these arms can lead to a range of issues, including uneven tire wear, inability to align the vehicle, poor handling, loud clunking noises, steering wheel vibration, and banging sounds over bumps. Powerflex leverages extensive experience in automotive suspension and chassis systems, combined with advanced polyurethane manufacturing techniques, to produce premium performance bushings. Installation instructions are included with all Powerflex kits. Use of Powerflex Copper Grease PCG1 is recommended for ease of installation and periodic reapplication is advised to ensure long, squeak-free service life.
