The Scat crankshaft is a standard weight, 4340 forged steel crankshaft designed for street or race engines requiring substantially increased horsepower. It fits Small Block Chevy engines with a 3.500-inch stroke and a 2-piece rear seal. Each crankshaft is precision-ground, heat-treated, shot-peened, and micro-polished for superior tolerance control, and also features nitride hardening for enhanced wear resistance.
