The Turbosmart BlackBox Electronic Wastegate Controller (TS-0305-1001) offers advanced boost control for a wide range of applications, compatible with factory, aftermarket, and motorsport ECUs. Its robust design includes dual-channel, high-current H-bridge outputs capable of handling up to 25 Amps per channel, sufficient for Turbosmart's e-Force and StraightGate series external wastegates. Connectivity and control are versatile, with the BlackBox supporting PWM inputs for traditional boost solenoids, 0-5v inputs for wastegate valve position, and CAN bus position demand targets for advanced ECU integration. It also features auto-calibration for Turbosmart electronic external wastegates through a full sweep process, enhanced by over-temperature safety features utilizing integrated temperature sensor inputs. The unit comes pre-loaded with flow-versus-lift calibration data for all Turbosmart electronic wastegates, simplifying setup and ensuring accurate boost control. Further customization is available through a USB connection to a PC-based application for adjusting settings. For ultimate control, the CAN-based override system allows for unlimited control strategies to be implemented directly from the ECU.
