The K&N 71-3070 Blackhawk Cold Air Intake System is engineered to boost performance for 2009-2014 Chevrolet Suburban 1500, Chevrolet Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade, Cadillac Escalade ESV, Cadillac Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Yukon, GMC Yukon Denali, GMC Yukon Denali XL, GMC Yukon XL 1500, and GMC Sierra 1500 models equipped with 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L, or 6.2L V8 engines. This system features a textured black powder-coated aluminum intake tube designed for high airflow and a DRYFLOW synthetic air filter that provides exceptional engine protection without the need for oil, simplifying maintenance as it only requires cleaning every 50,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions. The Blackhawk Induction system incorporates an oil-free synthetic filter media and all-black components. A steel heat shield is included to help protect intake air from the high temperatures within the engine bay. This intake is designed to replace the factory air filter and intake tube, and the estimated horsepower gain is 12.17 HP @ 5342 RPM.
