Overview

The Meyer Blaster Tailgate Spreader is engineered to steadily disperse an even flow of material and features the strongest motor of any spreader on the market. It is compatible with any half-ton truck or larger, and tractors with 3-point hitches. It's available in 6.5 or 12.8 cubic-foot capacity. An illuminated in-cab controller allows for one-touch operation. It includes a load-bearing baffle plate to reduce pressure and is available with or without a vibrator. The leak-preventing, multi-spiked auger digs deep within the hopper. The 1/2 horsepower direct-drive motor provides 75% more power than other spreaders. It can chew up congealed material and sprays it out in an even mist, even in the worst conditions. The flow stops completely every time the brake is touched, preventing material waste. The rust-proof polyurethane hopper keeps moisture out with heavy-duty locking straps, and the powder-coated, rust-resistant frame is finished in automotive-style paint. It features nine-inch stainless steel spinners for durable, long-lasting performance and marine-grade electrical components for water protection. Backed by an industry-leading 5-Year Warranty.
