The MSD Performance GP1005 Ignition Upgrade Kit is specifically designed as a high-performance replacement for the stock ignition coil pack on the Volkswagen Golf VR6. The original coil packs are often expensive and suffer from weak output voltage, making them unsuitable for performance applications or even reliable replacement. This upgrade kit aims to improve fuel efficiency and throttle response, especially under high-pressure conditions. Drivers can expect a better and faster idle speed, as well as improved rev response. The kit comes complete with all necessary hardware for installation, including three MSD Coils (8224), a coil bracket, harness, bolt set, boots, terminals and crimper, and a tool for mounting terminals onto your OE spark cables. A manual is also included. By upgrading to MSD Blaster Coils, you are enhancing your engine's ignition system. The kit is presented as a direct replacement for the original, expensive, and underperforming coil pack, offering a performance-oriented solution for VR6 owners.
