MSD Ignition Coil Pack Dis 4-Tower 1991-2001 Ford 4.6L/5.0L/5.4L Engines MSD Ignition

The MSD 8241 Ignition Coil Pack is a 4-tower, bolt-on coil designed as a replacement for late-model Ford waste spark ignition systems. It features an 83:1 turns ratio and lower primary resistance to produce a high-voltage spark (up to 40,000 maximum voltage). The secondary towers are designed for snap-on spark plug terminals, while the primary terminals require a Ford-style connector. This coil has an inductance of 3.9 mH, a primary resistance of 0.53 ohms, and a secondary resistance of 13.7k ohms. It is CARB E.O. Approved, meaning it is legal for sale and use on Emissions Controlled Vehicles in all 50 states when used in accordance with the manufacturer's application guide. For even greater ignition performance, it can be paired with an MSD DIS Series Ignition Control. Note that if this coil pack is installed on a 1999-2004 Ford Focus Zetec, the spark plug wires will require replacement (MSD Part Number 32939 is available).
