The MSD Blaster Ignition Coil set provides a reliable ignition upgrade for a wide range of Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles equipped with 4.6L or 5.4L 2-valve SOHC V8 engines. By utilizing a patented winding design and specialized internal materials, these coils optimize combustion efficiency by delivering superior spark energy and higher voltage output compared to standard factory equipment. Installation is simplified through a direct bolt-in design that utilizes your vehicle's existing factory electrical connectors and mounting points. This set includes eight individual coils, making it a complete replacement solution for your modular engine's ignition-on-plug system. Compatibility is strictly limited to 2-valve modular engines. These coils will NOT fit 3-valve or 4-valve engine configurations. Please verify your specific engine valve count before purchase, as these are specifically engineered for the 2-valve architecture found in various 1997-2014 Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury models, including the Mustang, F-150, and E-series vans.
