The Dart Aluminum small block is light, strong, and affordable. With displacements up to 450 cubic inches, the Dart Aluminum block is ideal for sprint cars, modifieds, late model stock cars, dragsters, and unlimited competition classes. Features include premium RMR cast Aluminum alloy, extended cylinder barrels, four deck height options (8.200”, 8.700”, 9.200”, 9.500”), siamesed cylinders (4.000” or 4.125” bore, safely bored to 4.165”), ductile iron sleeves, steel 4-bolt main bearing caps (splayed outer bolts on center caps), redesigned low restriction priority main oiling system with rear external oil pump feed, dual oiling crossovers, reinforced blind-tapped head bolt bosses, and extra thick decks. Includes parts kit (P/N 32000004 or 32000032), but no cam bearings. Standard cam location and .875 lifter bore.
