Description

The Whitecap G-8340C is a gas spring featuring a heavy-duty steel body coated with heat-cured black nitrate paint. An O-ring seal ensures proper closure, forcing oil toward the orifice piston. Its specially formulated hydraulic fluid provides end-of-travel damping, and the piston assembly offers precise control during extension. This gas spring has an extended length of 15 inches, a compressed length of 9.5 inches, and a P1 force of 40 lbs.
