This kit includes the drilled block plug found inside the block behind the distributor, along with a specialized installation tool. It also features two optional 3/8" threaded plugs for the front of the block, intended as replacements for the press-in plugs, which are also supplied.

The Butler Ultimate Pontiac Block Plug Kit from Butler Performance provides all the necessary block plugs for your Pontiac engine. In addition to the primary block plug, the kit offers two optional 3/8" threaded plugs for the front of the block. These can be used as an alternative to the standard press-in plugs, which are also included in the package. The custom Butler pipe plug installation tool is provided to help ensure a proper and straightforward installation process. It is important to note that some existing block plugs may be seized and could require the application of heat for removal to prevent damage to the installation tool.
