Blow-Off Valve 25mm

This valve is constructed with a brass piston and incorporates advanced sealing technology. It features a unique conical, progressive rate spring and a ratchet-type top adjuster for precise preload adjustment, allowing it to maintain boost pressure across a wide range while ensuring unrestricted piston travel and flow volume. This design contrasts with traditional valves that may suffer from restricted piston movement and reduced flow due to cylindrical springs. Installation requires mounting the valve in the opposite orientation to the original Bosch valve, with the side pipe connecting to the turbo intake hose and the base pipe to the hose running to the boost side of the turbo. The valve has a 25mm port size. Serviceability is straightforward, with access to the piston chamber via three cap screws at the base for cleaning. Forge recommends servicing the valve every 3 years or 20,000 miles. Adjustment guidelines are provided based on engine type and remap stage (e.g., Standard engine – 16 clicks, Stage 1 remap – 21 clicks, Stage 2 remap – 25 clicks), with fine-tuning possible by a few clicks. The Splitter is designed, machined, and hand-assembled in the UK and comes with a lifetime warranty. It is specifically designed for VAG 1.8T engines and compatible with various Audi, Seat, Skoda, and Volkswagen models from the late 1990s to the mid-2000s. This valve is NOT compatible with the AMG C43 2018, N18 Mini Cooper S, 2007 Mini Cooper S, or the 2008 mk5 Golf GTI BWA engine.
