Beyond the sound enhancement, this adapter serves a functional purpose on high boost applications by helping to prevent turbo surge through the release of excess boost pressure to the atmosphere. This adapter is specifically designed to fit 2022-2025 Mavericks, 2015-2025 Mustang EcoBoost models, and 2013+ Fusions. It is important to note that this adapter does not fit 2.0L Fusion engines.
