The Forge Motorsport Blow Off Valve and Kit (FMDVATSI) is engineered as a direct replacement for the stock unit on VAG vehicles featuring the 1.4 TSI twincharged (supercharged and turbocharged) engines with electronically controlled bypass valves. This product provides a significantly more reliable solution by replacing the original valve with a pressure/vacuum operated piston valve. It meticulously maintains the desirable OEM ECU control over valve actuation, ensuring seamless integration and performance. The design goal is to enhance valve response and preserve ECU control without introducing any fault codes, check engine lights, or adverse effects on the vehicle's operation. The "In The Box" contents include the FMDVATSI Valve, wiring harness, solenoid, bracket, screws, a 2000mm length of 4mm vacuum hose, vacuum tap, self-tapper screws, an uprated blue spring, cable ties, a socket button screw, nyloc nut, instructions, and a Forge keyring and sticker. A spring tuning kit is also available for further engine-specific adjustments. Forge Motorsport recommends servicing the valve every 3 years or 20,000 miles, whichever comes first. This kit is compatible with a range of Audi, Seat, Skoda, and Volkswagen models equipped with the 1.4 TSI or 1.4 Twincharged engines, including the Audi A1 (8X) 2010-2018, A3 (8P) 2004-2013, Seat Ibiza Mk4 (6J) 2008-2015, Skoda Fabia 5J 2007-2014, and various Volkswagen Golf, Polo, and Scirocco models.
