Description

The ADD W1 Blow Off Valve Kit is engineered as a direct bolt-on replacement for your vehicle's stock diverter valve. Designed for Hyundai Veloster, Optima, and Genesis models manufactured between 2010 and 2018, this kit ensures a perfect fit without requiring any welding or modifications. It is compatible with both stock and aftermarket engine tunes. Its primary function is to release excess pressure from the intake system and intercooler when the throttle is released. This is crucial for turbocharged engines operating under high boost pressures, as it prevents potential damage to the turbo compressor wheel, intercooler, and turbo pipework. By relieving this excess pressure, the valve also helps to prolong turbocharger life and mitigate excessive turbo lag. All necessary mounting hardware is included, featuring a vehicle-specific flange/adapter, hose, fitting, bolts, O-ring seal, and C-clip, simplifying the installation process. This kit allows owners to enhance their vehicle's performance and sound characteristics while maintaining factory specifications.
