Description

The ADD W1 Blow Off Valve Sound Plate Adapter is an upgrade for the 2022-2026 Volkswagen GTI MK8 2.0T EA888 Gen 4. It produces the signature atmospheric "Pshhhh" blow off valve sound without needing to replace the factory electronic bypass valve. This adapter installs between the OEM bypass solenoid and the turbocharger, enabling unused charge air to vent to the atmosphere upon throttle lift, resulting in a more aggressive sound while maintaining OEM reliability and drivability. Constructed from lightweight 6061 billet aluminum, this adapter features precision CNC machining and a durable black anodized finish for superior corrosion resistance. It is designed as a direct bolt-on installation with no cutting or permanent modifications required. The adapter is compatible with both stock and aftermarket ECU tunes, and no additional tuning is necessary. It also maintains factory drivability and reliability. The kit includes the ADD W1 Blow Off Valve Sound Plate Adapter, an O-ring seal, a worm gear clamp, and all required installation hardware. For off-road and racing use only, where applicable.
