The Hawk HB179E.630 Brake Pads are a rear set engineered as an entry-level endurance compound, featuring the Blue 9012 race compound. They are specifically developed for demanding applications such as Road, Rally, and Circle Track racing. Key characteristics of the Blue 9012 compound include medium friction, an intermediate initial bite, and increased mid-Mu (mid-range coefficient of friction) properties. The operating temperature range for these pads is between 250-1000 degrees Fahrenheit, with an optimal performance range of 350-800 degrees Fahrenheit. This compound provides medium-high torque, making it suitable for a variety of racing environments.
