Blue Billet Coolant Filter Kit

The Sinister Diesel coolant filtration system effectively removes casting sand and metal shavings from your engine's coolant, thereby prolonging the life of critical components like the water pump, EGR cooler, and oil cooler. The filter block is precision-machined from 6061 aluminum and features an anodized blue finish for durability and aesthetics. It attaches to a supplied bracket that utilizes factory mounting points, eliminating the need for drilling. The filter block includes two inlet ports and one outlet port, and all necessary fittings for installation are provided. The filter itself can be easily unscrewed for replacement. Sinister Diesel recommends replacing the first filter after 500 miles, the next two filters at 3,000-mile intervals, and subsequent replacements annually. The system utilizes silicone hoses with pre-assembled, leak-proof fittings that have been factory tested at twice the recommended radiator cap pressure. This kit includes a genuine WIX coolant filter, the filter block, a mounting bracket, and all necessary installation hardware. Recommended tools for installation include a 9/16" and 13/16" wrench, an 8mm socket, a 3/8" 12-point socket or 5/16" combination wrench, a large adjustable wrench, a regular screwdriver, a utility knife, and diagonal cutters.
