The GROM Audio GROM-BT3-HON92 is an integrated Bluetooth car interface designed to bring hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming capabilities to your original factory car stereo. This system includes a built-in Bluetooth module and a microphone, enabling you to make and receive calls safely while driving. You can accept or reject calls using your car's stereo or steering wheel buttons, with audio played through your car's speakers. Beyond hands-free calling, the GROM-BT3 facilitates wireless music streaming from your smartphone via Bluetooth (A2DP). Music playback can be controlled using your car's stereo buttons or steering wheel controls (AVRCP), offering a seamless user experience. This adapter is compatible with all smartphones, including Android and iPhone, and supports all popular audio streaming applications like Spotify and Pandora. An optional AUX-IN cable is available separately, allowing for a direct 3.5mm audio connection to your factory car stereo. This cable also includes a 5V USB charging port to power your smartphone. It is important to note that the USB port on this specific auxiliary cable is for charging only and does not support music playback from a USB stick or direct connection from an Android or iPhone for music. For USB music integration, the GROM USB MP3 Car Kit is recommended. The package includes the car stereo adapter with built-in Bluetooth, a vehicle-specific harness, an omni-directional microphone with a 10FT swivel mount, and a user manual. Optional accessories like a 5FT 3.5mm audio AUX cable with USB charging or a flush-mount AUX-in cable with a dash mount are sold separately. The adapter operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (-50°F to 200°F) and features a signal-to-noise ratio of 90dB with less than 0.01% distortion.
