The GROM Audio SUB08B3 is an integrated Bluetooth car interface that enhances your original factory car stereo with hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming capabilities. The system supports Bluetooth HFP for hands-free calls, including accepting and rejecting calls, and A2DP for wireless music streaming from any smartphone, including Android and iPhone. It is compatible with all audio streaming applications like Spotify and Pandora. An optional AUX-IN 3.5mm audio cable is available separately, allowing for a direct audio connection to your factory stereo. This cable also includes a 5V USB charging port to power your devices. It's important to note that the USB port on this specific auxiliary cable is for charging only and does not support music playback from a USB stick or direct connection from an iPhone or Android device; for USB music playback, the GROM USB MP3 Car Kit is recommended. The GROM-BT3 module includes two extension ports that can be utilized for aux-in integration. The package comes with the car stereo adapter, a vehicle-specific harness, an omni-directional microphone with a swivel mount, and a user manual. Additional accessories like USB charging cables and flush mount AUX-in cables are sold separately. Compatibility is specific to Subaru models and requires the stereo to have a CHR/AUX/SAT button. For example, it fits Subaru Forester (2008-2013), Impreza (2008-2011), Impreza WRX (2012-2014), Legacy (2007-2014 with SAT button, excluding PE669UI), Outback (2007-2009), and Tribeca (2006-2009), provided they have the requisite button. Certain Legacy, Liberty, and Outback models from earlier years (2002-2006) are also compatible but require CHR/AUX buttons and are for non-US models only. The radio model FXDD07EF2 is explicitly listed as not compatible.
